My exhibition SHADES OF SILENCE opened on November 12th and runs until December 10th at the Fleurieu Arthouse. Most of the time, my paintings live in draws in my studio. What a thrill it is to see them all out and on walls, sharing themselves with anyone who cares to look. They begin to breathe and meet each other, sometimes flirting.

Many people entered this space for the opening of the exhibition. Our Mayor, Moira Were gave a gracious speech, and I followed with an artist talk. I spoke about my residency in Finland and the development of this body of work. You watch my talk by clicking the link below.
